This reminds me of the days of numbers stations like the Lincolnshire Poacher and the mystery surrounding them and all the discussions that went on trying to solve the mystery stations particular background sounds, the way the numbers were counted, the intrigue about the locations and everything else that plagued people when examining the stations themselves. I wonder sometimes if some of these mysteries you run into might be IC related .. Just sayin…
I think people misunderstand how integrations work and that most integrations are not written well. I doubt the dudes selling Kremlin their bot included a proper error handler. You can parse JSON and other things incorrectly and include it in the output by mistake. It is all within what a sloppily written bot could do. Also with some AI help or even just having some simple code to modify the output you can easily add swears to a bot generated tweet. It's not rocket science after all. There are lots of bad code out there so watch out when you are buying a gray-market bot handler!
I appreciate the time you took to figure it out and then lay it all out. Thanks!
